Nottingham Forest will rival Rangers and Celtic for the signing of Blackburn Rovers starlet Tyrhys Dolan, according to TalkSPORT journalist Geoff Peters.
The Reds are in the mix to sign several new players this summer. Now, it would appear that Dolan is one name on their radar.
The youngster has two years to run on his existing contract and Rovers could cash in on him during the summer transfer window.
Dolan is a versatile performer. He operates in any forward position and spent a large amount of time last season playing as a centre-forward for Rovers.

The 20-year-old scored four goals and registered three assists from his 36 appearances, with Tony Mowbray rating the versatile performer very highly.
After one game last season he called him ‘wonderful’ and claimed he was an ‘amazing guy’ to have around the dressing room.
Dolan is likely to have a number of other potential suitors. It would seem as though Forest along with Rangers and Celtic are currently in the driving seat, however.
The Reds will definitely want some new forward players. Keinan Davis will go back to Aston Villa, whilst Philip Zinckernagel may also be overlooked for a return after his loan.
Forest rival Rangers and Celtic for Dolan and he could be a future star
The Reds will naturally want some proven Premier League players to come in and make an immediate name for themselves.
But, they shouldn’t take their eye off the ball when it comes to adding some competition for the first team.
In the here and now, that is likely what Dolan would provide but it’s fair to say he’s got plenty of experience.
Mowbray is a master at unleashing younger talent onto the first team and Dolan has 76 senior outings to his name.
As a result, he fits the profile of a Dane Murphy signing down to the ground and he could thrive under Steve Cooper.

Moving to Rangers or Celtic will naturally have its attraction.
Playing first-team football in the Premier League could just swing the outcome in Forest’s favour though.
Rumour rating: 7/10 – we don’t actually mind this rumour.
Dolan is a young player with his whole future ahead of him and he could become a City Ground star.
One aspect of his play that is really eye-catching is the fact that he never gives up and he’s perhaps not too dissimilar to Ryan Yates or Ben Osborn in that sense.
Forest will want players who are older and more experienced for next season but Dolan would prove a pretty useful signing for around £3 million.
