Moussa Niakhate has completed his move to Nottingham Forest, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The respected transfer guru has claimed that the medical was completed minus any issues.
Niakhate checks in from Mainz where he has been the club captain for the past 18 months.
The 26-year-old is a left-sided centre-back and he also has experience of playing as a wing-back.

He is strong in the tackle, wins lots of aerial challenges and also carries the ball out from the back with aplomb.
Forest might have got themselves a bit of a steal with this deal to sign Niakhate.
He has signed for an initial payment of £10 million with a further £5 million agreed in the way of add-ons.
Nikahate is now expected to fly to Alicante where he will join his new teammates at a pre-season training camp.
He departs Mainz after four years at the club following his arrival from FC Metz in 2018.
Niakhate is now merely waiting to be announced by Forest and he looks set to become the latest new addition.
The defender joins Taiwo Awoniyi, Dean Henderson and Giulian Biancone in joining Forest ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.
Niakhate move completed and Romano explains what’s next
Now that Forest have their central defensive ranks sorted, the Reds move on to other areas of the squad.
The reputable Romano claims that the wing-back spots will be next to get some TLC.

Harry Toffolo and Omar Richards have been linked on the left; with Neco Williams and Issa Kabore reportedly wanted by Forest on the right.
This represents an exciting time to be a Reds supporter and it’s perhaps starting to sink in that Premier League football is a reality.
Niakhate has been a long time coming and Forest will be delighted to get this one over the line.
