Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Nottingham Forest won’t be signing Moise Kean and are now focusing on other targets.

Some reports in Italy did suggest that the Everton outcast was on the radar at Forest.

The club will likely go in search of some new attacking players ahead of their maiden Premier League campaign for 23 years.

Kean spent last season on loan with Juventus but scored just six goals from 44 appearances.

The youngster has proved a pretty disastrous signing by Everton and they’re keen to offload him this summer.

In 39 outings for the Toffees he’s scored just four goals and that simply isn’t good enough.

Frank Lampard will be desperate to raise some more funds this summer as Everton aim to balance the books.

New signings are likely to come at a premium this summer, with the Merseysiders having some issues off the field.

Forest are still waiting for an answer from Lewis Grabban but it’s fair to say another striker would be ideal.

Taiwo Awoniyi has checked in from Union Berlin and Sam Surridge is also on the hunt for a place.

Kean now looks to be off the radar though and Everton’s search for a club to take him will continue.

If no club comes forward to take him, he will spend next season on loan with Juventus once again.

Forest won’t be signing Kean and that looks wise

Kean is something of an enigma. At 22-years-old, he was once regarded as one of the brightest talents in world football.

Now, he’s struggling for game time and crucially struggling to score goals wherever he plays.

There have also been some suggestions that he has the ability to be disruptive in the dressing room.

Cooper has instilled an amazing team spirit on Trentside and this looks like one race that Forest are better off out of.

The search for a striker continues but it’s a positive piece of news that the £49,000-a-week Kean isn’t on the radar.
