Nottingham Forest take on Union Berlin in Germany this evening in their latest pre-season game.
Forest beat the fierce rivals of today’s opponent Hertha Berlin on Wednesday night.
The Reds won 3-1 with Lyle Taylor scoring twice and Steve Cooper will once again take a look at some players.
Forest’s squad is slowly taking shape now. Three new players have been added this week, with Jesse Lingard now on board.
Ahead of today’s match, we looked at how Cooper might line his team up during the latest pre-season clash.
Nottingham Forest predicted XI to face Union Berlin
In goal and back three
Dean Henderson looks likely to continue in goal, although Wayne Hennessey might get some minutes from the bench.
At the back, Cooper might look to blend his first choice back three together ahead of the new season.
As a result, Joe Worrall, Moussa Niakhate and Scott McKenna could all start.
In the engine room and wing-backs
It’s an exciting time for the Reds at wing-back, with some new signings to choose from.
Neco Williams put some delightful balls into the box against Hertha Berlin and he should keep his place on the right.
On the left, Harry Toffolo could get a chance to shine once again.
In midfield, Lewis O’Brien could make his debut and make his first appearance of pre-season.
Alongside him, Cooper might go with the guile of Cafu and start Jack Colback on the bench.
Leading the Forest line
Taiwo Awoniyi hasn’t got off the mark just yet in pre-season and he will probably start again.
Lyle Taylor scored twice in midweek and perhaps he will get another chance to shine as he prepares to leave the club.
That could see Brennan Johnson start in the number 10 role once more.
Jesse Lingard could get some action from the bench.
