Nottingham Forest are one of several clubs interested in signing Wolfsburg striker Omar Marmoush, according to Buli News. Stuttgart, Brentford and Espanyol are also credited with interest.
The 23-year-old signed for Wolfsburg in 2017 from Egyptian top-flight outfit Wadi Degla. He has spent time on loan with St Pauli and last season at Stuttgart.
Marmoush is represented by ICM Stellar Sports. They also have Dean Henderson and Moussa Niakhate on their books and perhaps that makes the link credible.

The young striker has made a strong start to the 2022/2 campaign. He scored the only goal of the game as Wolfsburg defeated Carl Zeiss Jena in the DFB-Pokal.
It was his first goal for Wolfsburg in 13 attempts but they could still consider selling him this summer. Last season he scored three times and claimed five assists from 23 appearances for Stuttgart.
Forest are considered the club to watch in this race. The Reds have already added three players from the Bundesliga, with Niakhate joined by Taiwo Awoniyu and Orel Mangala.
It’s claimed, however, that Forest are battling other Premier League clubs. Arsenal and Tottenham have both been credited with an interest, according to Fussball Transfers.
Forest interested in Marmoush but they could face a fight
The Reds do need another striker. Lewis Grabban has departed, leaving Awoniyi to scrap it out with Sam Surridge to spearhead Steve Cooper’s team during 2022/23.
Forest will hope to add a striker before the transfer window closes. The race to Marmoush looks a fierce one though and it could see the Reds fight a losing battle.
Arsenal will have significant clout, whilst Tottenham have Antonio Conte in charge and that will make them an attractive proposition for any potential new recruits.

Forest will hope that regular game time can convince him to head to Nottingham. He’d prove a useful player to have in the squad and at 23 he has bags of time on his side.
Rumour rating: 6/10 – Given that he’s a relatively unknown quantity, the jury may remain out in the eyes of some supporters.
Marmoush should be a pretty useful signing though. He’s got experience in men’s football and ultimately whoever comes in will only provide backup.
The youngster has played 13 times for his country and perhaps he can prove a hit among the Forest faithful.
