Nottingham Forest travel to Grimsby Town tonight as they open their Carabao Cup campaign.
The Reds earned a bye in the first round, with all Premier League clubs that aren’t in European competition entering this week.
Forest secured an important point at Everton on Saturday and have collected four points from their opening three games.
Tonight, some changes could be made and ahead of the clash we’ve looked at how Forest might line up at Blundell Park.
Forest predicted XI v Grimsby:
The Forest rearguard
Moussa Niakhate is injured so don’t expect to see him for a few months.
At the back, Steve Cooper might mix things up.
Giulian Biancone might earn a game on the right of the three, with Cheikhou Kouyate dropping into the middle.
Scott McKenna could keep his place in the team as a left-footed option.
In goal, Wayne Hennessey may replace Dean Henderson for a debut outing.
In the engine room and wing-backs
Lewis O’Brien and Orel Mangala will likely get a rest tonight.
If Worrall misses out we expect Ryan Yates to start and captain the side in Cleethorpes this evening.
Alongside him, there could be a debut for ex-Atalanta star Remo Freuler.
At wing-back, Forest aren’t blessed with an abundance of options.
As a result, Neco Williams might be handed the chance to start again at right-sided wing-back.
Aaron Donnelly wasn’t involved for the under-23s last night and he might replace Harry Toffolo for a maiden senior start.
Leading the Forest line
Again, it could be all change here.
Morgan Gibbs-White may get the chance to start as he looks to hit the ground running at Forest.
Both strikers could change too, with Emmanuel Dennis making a first appearance since joining from Watford.
Alongside him, Cooper might give the nod to Sam Surridge as he looks to build some match sharpness.
