Nottingham Forest are taking on Tottenham Hotspur this afternoon and the City Ground will be rocking.
The Reds did well in their maiden home game back in the Premier League, winning 1-0 against West Ham.
Steve Cooper will be under no illusions that Forest will likely secure their fate with their form at the City Ground.
Tottenham will arrive on the back of an unbeaten start to the campaign and today’s game will be the first real test.
Ahead of today’s game, we looked at how the Reds could line up against Antonio Conte’s team.
Predicted Nottingham Forest XI v Tottenham:
The Forest rearguard
Dean Henderson has been magnificent since arriving on loan from Manchester United and he will start between the posts.
Forest are short of options a little bit at centre-back, with Moussa Niakhate still out injured.
As a result, we expect Joe Worrall, Steve Cook and Scott McKenna all to start once again this afternoon.
In the Forest engine room and wing-backs
Forest aren’t blessed with loads of options at wing-back and there is unlikely to be any chance for this one.
Neco Williams should start on the right and Harry Toffolo should start on the left-hand side.
In midfield, Cooper could be forced into one change, with Orel Mangala possibly struggling to be fit.
If that is the case, we think Lewis O’Brien will be partnered with former Atalanta star Remo Freuler in midfield.
Leading the Forest line
There could be one change in attack as well for the visit of Tottenham.
Jesse Lingard should keep his spot in the number 10 position and Brennan Johnson should keep his place upfront.
Alongside, the academy graduate, Morgan Gibbs-White should come in for a first start.
Taiwo Awoniyi looks like starting on the bench if Cooper makes that call.
Here is how the Forest team could look this afternoon:
