Manchester City v Nottingham Forest: What’s the story?
This is exactly the reason Forest wanted to get promoted, to be contesting these fixtures on a regular basis. It’s also the most daunting aspect.
Forest head to the Etihad Stadium tonight looking to continue their 100 per cent record there. Their only other visit to the stadium came during an FA Cup clash over 10 years ago.
Tonight will prove a thankless task. City have been blowing teams out of the water at home for many years and on Saturday they came from 2-0 down to beat Crystal Palace 4-2.

Still, Forest have absolutely nothing to lose. The season won’t be defined by games against Manchester City and this game brings an end to a tricky first month.
The Reds will go there with the shackles off and although City have a squad brimming with quality, it should be a great night for the supporters.
Forest gave it their all against Tottenham and West Ham recently and they must go into this contest with a similar mentality.
