Get French Football News have claimed that Nottingham Forest are now set to sign defender Loic Bade on loan with a view to a permanent deal.
The Reds are keen to sign a centre-back who boasts a bit of pace and the Rennes enforcer offers that in abundance.
Furthermore, it’s claimed by journalist Santi Aouna that a total agreement between all parties isn’t too far away.
Rennes do hope to sign a replacement before letting Bade officially sign for the Reds but they’re confident they can do that.

Forest have fought off Premier League competition for the player’s signature. Both Aston Villa and Southampton were said to be keen on a deal.
The 22-year-old looks like an exciting player and he will join initially on loan.
It’s claimed that if the loan deal is successful, the Reds will part with a fee in the region of £12 million to sign him permanently.
Bade was previously called the second coming of Manchester United star Raphael Varane and he looks like a top talent.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan with Lens, making 33 appearances and catching the eye of several clubs.
Forest set to sign Bade
This looks like an intriguing deal and should give Forest something a little bit different for their defensive unit.
Bade has pace and also possesses similar attributes to that of a wing-back, rather than a natural central defender.

He is strong in the tackle, quick and he’s also capable of playing out from the back which should delight Steve Cooper.
Forest have Joe Worrall, Scott McKenna and Steve Cook in their central defensive ranks but the boss clearly fancies another option.
Bade could be a useful addition and Forest will hope to get this one over the line.
