Nottingham Forest have been handed a massive boost ahead of their next fixture, with Orel Mangala back in training.

The Reds could be set to face Fulham on Friday, with tomorrow night’s game against Leeds called off after The Queen’s sad passing.

Mangala hasn’t played since going off with a hamstring problem in the 1-1 draw with Everton last month.

He’s missed defeats against Tottenham, Manchester City and Bournemouth and his absence has been sorely felt.

Mangala signed for the Reds in the summer, costing the club around £12 million from VfB Stuttgart.

The 24-year-old has now been spotted back in training and it would seem as though he’s set for a return.

Mangala has already captured supporters’ hearts, and they will be thrilled to see the player edging towards a return.

Forest have lost three games on the spin and their Premier League dream is quickly becoming a nightmare.

Mangala will be a significant boost to the Reds in their next fixture and the Reds will welcome his presence on the pitch.

Forest handed massive Mangala boost

Forest fans are disappointed that they have to sit and stew on the disappointing result against Bournemouth last week.

Naturally, a respectful group of supporters do understand the postponement of the Leeds game but a return to action will be most welcomed.

Mangala could prove one of the most important pieces of business that Forest did in the summer.

His influence when called upon so far has been clear for all to see and he looks like one of the first names on the team sheet.

Forest must start winning games quickly if they’re to ensure a long stay in the Premier League.

With Mangala pulling the strings in midfield, the chances of a strong run of form look far more likely.
