Brice Samba is known for his gamesmanship antics and on Friday after Nottingham Forest lost to Fulham he was up to his usual tricks.

The Reds lost again to the Cottagers, going down 3-2 after shipping three goals in four second-half minutes.

Samba opted to leave the City Ground during the summer months.

He rejected the offer of a new contract and subsequently signed for Lens in Ligue 1 with Dean Henderson replacing the stopper at Forest.

The Reds incumbent has been in fantastic form but it would appear that Samba has an axe to grind.

After Forest’s second consecutive capitulation on Friday, Samba took aim at the club.

Shortly after the full-time whistle, he tweeted the shrug emoji before deleting it.

Naturally, that riled a lot of Forest fans and the 28-year-old quickly deleted his somewhat poor tweet.

Samba might have burnt some bridges with that tweet but if he did he redeemed himself with another.

A Derby fan saw the original message that he posted and suggested that the Congolese stopper was a ram.

Samba quickly responded and said that he’d rather stop playing than pledge his allegiance to the Rams.

Samba up to usual tricks

Clearly, the former Forest goalkeeper is somewhat bitter towards the Reds over how his time ended.

Although the Reds are in shocking form at the moment, Henderson has been largely impressive for the team.

He has been called up for the England squad and naturally he looks like an upgrade on Samba.

The former goalkeeper didn’t really need to tweet his shrug emoji on Friday and it’s perhaps telling that the deleted it.

Samba doesn’t need to burn his bridges with Forest fans. He helped the team win promotion and for that, he will forever be worshipped.

It was, however, amusing to see him silence the Derby fan with his most recent jibe.
