Nottingham Forest left-back Max Lowe starred for the club when called upon last season and now he’s flying for Sheffield United.
The South Normanton-born player spent the 2021/22 campaign at the City Ground and made 20 appearances.
Sadly, Lowe struggled with injuries. It’s been the story of his career really and the Reds were quoted £5 million for him in the summer.
Forest were never going to pay that for him. He’s never really proved himself in the Premier League and his fitness record isn’t great.

A hamstring problem has actually ruled him out for three months right now but his form prior to that has been incredible.
Who Scored actually rate the player as the number one wing-back or full-back in the entire division, with an average rating of 7.36.
Lowe is 25-years-old and not too many Sheffield United fans were fussed when he was loaned out last season.
Now, he’s been integral for the Blades and his injury comes at a truly awful time.
This season he’s made two assists and also scored for United and now they will miss him for a prolonged period.
Lowe has clearly kept the momentum from last season even though he might have been disappointed not to win a permanent move to Forest.
Lowe flying for Sheffield United
This doesn’t come as a surprise and Forest fans certainly won’t be shocked to hear he’s doing well.
Lowe was very good when called upon during the 2021/22 campaign and it was a shame he didn’t play more.

Forest have replaced Lowe extremely well. Renan Lodi and Harry Toffolo have been added, with Omar Richards also signing.
Lowe fitted the wing-back role down to the ground and it’s no surprise he’s shining in that role at Bramall Lane.
The challenge for Lowe now is to get fit and win a second successive promotion with the Blades.
