Orel Mangala might have dropped a little hint that he’s set to return to the Nottingham Forest fold this evening.

The Reds face Leicester at the King Power Stadium, with both teams in desperate need of three points.

Mangala hasn’t played since hobbling out of a 1-1 draw against Everton back in August.

He had started his Forest career in quality fashion and he’s been sorely missed in the engine room.

Steve Cooper has been pretty coy on the severity of his injury and supporters are desperate to see him return.

Forest signed Mangala from VfB Stuttgart during the summer transfer window.

He cost the Reds around £12 million and comes with a wealth of experience in Germany, despite his tender years.

Mangala was looked at by other Premier League clubs and Forest had to move quickly to secure their man.

He came on as a substitute against Newcastle on the opening day and was then brilliant as the Reds defeated West Ham.

Mangala was then in good form against Everton before a hamstring injury struck.

He’s not been seen since and fans have been crying out to see his return to the team as they look to revive his form.

Mangala has dropped a hint over possible return

With fans anticipating tonight’s clash, they might be intrigued to see what Mangala has put on his Instagram story.

He’s posted a snapshot of the game being advertised and it’d perhaps be odd to share such a post if he wasn’t involved.

Mangala would be a welcome addition to the side tonight as Forest look to climb out of the drop zone.

The midfielder would almost certainly start if he’s fit and it could cause some intrigue over who makes way.

Lewis O’Brien was brilliant from the bench last time out and he will almost certainly start too.

Having the ex-Huddersfield man alongside Mangala could give Forest a big platform to claim a valuable three points.
