Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Ethan Horvath is making waves at Luton Town and this week he’s made the Team of the Week.
The American was allowed to join the Hatters on loan for the 2022/23 campaign and he’s now established as the number one.
Luton have made a decent start to the season and hope to reach the Premier League after play-off heartache during 2021/22.
Horvath wanted to go out and play this term, with the World Cup on the horizon.
He will hope to go to Qatar as one of the USA’s three goalkeepers, with his country due to face England.

It would appear that he’s doing his chances no harm at all given his current form.
Luton drew 0-0 with West Brom on Saturday and Horvath was inspired as Nathan Jones’ men shared the spoils.
He made three saves, according to Sofa Score and kept the Baggies at bay to see Steve Bruce lose his job.
Interestingly, another stat has emerged that suggests Horvath could still have a future at Forest.
Over the course of this season, he sits second on the list of goalkeepers in the Championship when it comes to accurate long balls.
That certainly highlights strong distribution skills and clearly, it’s something that he’s been working on.
Training alongside Brice Samba last season would definitely have helped that aspect improve.
It’s great to see Horvath doing well at Luton and the challenge for him is to keep impressing during his loan spell.
Horvath makes Team of the Week for Luton performance
The stopper is clearly doing well, with Luton flying high in the Championship.
Chris Cohen is the assistant manager at Kenilworth Road and some Forest fans will be rooting for the Hatters because of that.

If Forest go back to the Championship, Dean Henderson won’t sign personal terms.
With that in mind, the club would seek another goalkeeper. Now, perhaps Horvath could stake a claim.
Forest will hope it doesn’t come to that but the decision to send the American to Luton now looks inspired.
