The stunning Liverpool v Manchester City result this evening is extremely bad news for Nottingham Forest ahead of next week’s Premier League clash.

Liverpool will come to the City ground to face Forest next Saturday in a massive clash.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have flattered to deceive this season and just a week ago it seemed as though a crisis was rife at Anfield.

Liverpool had sat in 10th place in the league and were three games without a victory before facing Manchester City.

Now, confidence will be sky-high in Jurgen Klopp’s squad.

Liverpool have been missing some key players through injury but they have some seriously talented players.

Roberto Firmino has found some form, whilst Mohamed Salah now has four goals in his last two appearances.

Forest will have found playing Liverpool difficult anyway but now the challenge could be even trickier.

Liverpool v Manchester City result is terrible news for Forest

The Reds haven’t had many problems in scoring first at home.

They’ve done that in every home game this season, except for the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham in August.

As a result, although things aren’t going well there is some confidence when it comes to the home games.

Forest might have fancied getting at Liverpool a week or so ago.

They were dropping points, conceding silly goals and being honest, they looked like a patch of the team that won the title in 2020.

But, form is temporary and class is permanent.

Klopp’s team were never going to be on canvas for long and now they’ve dusted themselves down emphatically.

Liverpool have a clash with West Ham to come on Wednesday night.

After that, they will have full focus on Forest and they will want to send out another message on Trentside.

The Reds will have to be ready!
