Former Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker is set for a long spell on the sidelines after suffering a serious knee injury.
The ex-Reds striker suffered the injury during a game against Burnley recently and he simply can’t catch a break at the moment.
Now, Robins has confirmed that he’s torn his ACL; although it’s not ruptured which does mean he won’t need surgery and miss nine months of action.
Walker signed for Coventry in 2020, signing for the Sky Blues after they’d been promoted to the Premier League.

The striker was often deployed out wide when he did play in the senior ranks at Forest.
He made 45 appearances for the Reds, scoring seven goals and registering two assists in the first team.
Walker had successful loan spells at Lincoln and Mansfield when he was coming through the academy ranks at the City Ground.
That tempted Coventry to part with a seven-figure sum to land him in the summer of 2020.
Walker’s time with the Sky Blues has been fraught with frustration and he’s scored just 11 goals in 60 appearances.
At 26-years-old, it was anticipated he might have kicked on at a quicker rate than he has in the West Midlands.
Last season he spent the second half of the campaign at Portsmouth and even Danny Cowley, who he’s worked with before, couldn’t get a tune out of him.
Still, pre-season went quite well and he impressed Mark Robins.
Now, he’s back to square one and it will be a frustrating wait to discover just how much of the campaign he’s going to miss.
Walker set for spell on the sidelines
There was some angst among supporters when Walker was allowed to leave the club on a permanent basis.
With his contract running down, the club acted and chose to cash in when Coventry came calling.
For months, it seemed as though the Reds had made the wrong call, with Walker shining initially at Coventry.

Now, however, the decision looks like the right one, with Walker struggling to showcase his talent.
Still, as the son of Forest hero Des Walker, supporters will be hoping he can come good.
His latest injury setback is frustrating for the youngster though and he will hope to come back better than ever.
