Chris Sutton has told BBC Sport that Nottingham Forest have stopped doing something that served them well last season.
The Reds are bottom of the Premier League and face Brighton at the AMEX Stadium tonight.
Forest won promotion to the top flight in May, ending a 23-year hiatus from the country’s elite division.
Now, it’s all hands on deck as the Reds try and end a run of eight games without a victory.

Brighton have a new manager in Roberto de Zerbi and he’s yet to taste a win in English football.
They have been playing pretty well though and tonight’s game looks like another tough one for Forest.
Sutton thinks that Steve Cooper’s team have stopped doing something that they became known for last season.
He said in his BBC Sport column: “Forest don’t seem disjointed, they look like they’re losing confidence and belief.
“Last season, they were always very well organised but also went after teams – they are not doing either at the moment.
“Somehow Forest boss Steve Cooper has got to stumble across a result and find something that works for him, to find a framework for his team again.”
Sutton says Forest have stopped doing something this season
It’s hard to say but the BBC pundit does have a point here.
He’s backed Brighton to win 2-0 this evening and in fairness to him, his predictions have been pretty accurate this season.
When it comes to Forest’s style of play, however, he does perhaps have a point.
Last season, supporters looked forward to watching Forest play and they had a go in every single game.
Just lately, Cooper has been forced into adopting an approach that makes Forest tricky to beat.

That hasn’t gone down well with the supporters but it was vital that the team stopped the rot.
Now, the challenge for Cooper is to find a winning formula once again.
This run of winless games can’t go on and Forest have to start winning some games pretty quickly.
The challenge is staring Cooper in the face and bizarre the Forest boss is having to prove himself all over again.
