Brighton v Nottingham Forest: What’s the story?

Both teams will want to get back on track for very different reasons tonight.

Brighton made a blistering start but Graham Potter leaving for Chelsea has dented their ambition somewhat.

Roberto De Zerbi got off to a flying start with a 3-3 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.

Since then, he’s overseen defeats to Tottenham and last weekend to Brentford.

He will be desperate to start showcasing his credentials and prove to supporters there is life after Potter.

As for Forest, they’re already in a desperate situation.

The Reds are winless in eight outings in the Premier League and haven’t won a game since August 14th.

Steve Cooper’s team are bottom of the division and are in real danger of being cast adrift.

It was always going to prove a tough season for the Reds.

They added 22 new players following promotion to the Premier League and blending them all in is proving a challenge.

All the Reds can do is keep battling hard and keep striving for that winning formula in the top flight.

Broadcast details

Tonight’s game is one of three this season that will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime.

The kick-off is at the unusual time of 7:30.

As ever BBC Radio Nottingham will also be providing full match commentary.
