Former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand has delivered a scathing verdict on Nottingham Forest on the latest episode of his FIVE podcast.
The Reds were beaten 1-0 at Wolves on Saturday and talk turned towards the Twitter spat between the two clubs.
It was a foolish moment by the Reds and it’s a situation that has been condemned by Steve Cooper.
But, Forest will have to learn quickly from it and tonight’s game at Brighton is another opportunity for them.

Ferdinand hasn’t been impressed though and as talk turned to Forest he issued a five-word claim about the club.
He said on FIVE: “Forest are down. They’re gone.”
Ferdinand was particularly unimpressed with Jesse Lingard signing for Forest during the summer transfer window.
He felt it was the wrong move for the player and claimed that he should have signed for West Ham instead.
Clearly, the move to bring Lingard to Forest hasn’t worked out but there is still time for him to come good this season.
Ferdinand does seem a little arrogant towards the newly promoted outfits and this claim should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Ferdinand has delivered scathing Forest verdict
It’s hardly a bold claim for any pundit to be predicting Forest to get relegated at this moment in time.
The club sits bottom of the Premier League with just five points from their opening 10 games of the season.
Ferdinand played at the top level throughout his career and he’s entitled to his opinion.

After 10 games though it really is impossible to say who will be finishing where during 2022/23.
There are still 28 games left to play this season and all hope hasn’t been lost from a Forest perspective just yet.
It’s clear that wins are needed quickly and with Liverpool and Arsenal to come next, the Reds desperately need something at Brighton tonight.
