After posting a video of his two goals, he’s received comments from Djed Spence, Brice Samba and Cafu.
The Reds kick-started their promotion aspirations a year ago yesterday.
They came from 1-0 down in the 91st minute to 2-1 up in the 94th, with Taylor grabbing a brace.
It was a remarkable night for the Reds and it gave them the catalyst to really kick on under Steve Cooper.
The scenes at the end of that game were something else.
Forest fans were in their raptures on a rainy Tuesday night in Bristol and many started to believe.
Taylor has never really got going as a Forest player and this was comfortably his defining moment.
The Reds striker has been left out of the 25-man squad this season and didn’t secure a loan move either.
As a result, he will be frustrated with a lack of regular game time, especially at 32-years-old.
Yesterday, however, he sparked some brilliant memories by posting his two goals at Bristol City on Instagram.
Taylor has been reminiscing on Instagram
This has really pulled on the heartstrings of the Forest fan base.
Not least because a number of promotion-winning players have responded to his post.
Most of the replies were short and sweet but nonetheless, they bring back quality memories.
Spence won the penalty which started the comeback and he simply said: “Memories.”
Goalkeeper Samba ran the length of the field to celebrate following the winning goal and he posted: “Unforgettable.”
Cafu is still on the books at Forest and he essentially said he knew that promotion would be secured after this point.
He posted: “…was destined.”
