Torino boss Ivan Juric has dismissed any claims that he’s about to replace Steve Cooper at Nottingham Forest.
The manager has been speaking with Football Italia regarding some links between him and Forest.
Cooper has recently signed a new contract on Trentside but the Reds remain rooted to the foot of the Premier League.

Torino are enjoying a pretty decent Serie A campaign, having won five and drawn two of their 13 games.
Furthermore, the squad hasn’t been put together using a lot of resources and Juric’s stock is high.
The Croatian manager has been with Torino since May 2021 and has overseen 55 games in charge of the club.
Juric has a win ratio of 36% and he’s also managed Hellas Verona and Genoa in Serie A.
Forest are unlikely to replace Cooper any time soon and he will definitely get a chance to revive things.
Although the Reds are bottom, they have beaten Liverpool in recent weeks to offer some optimism for the future.
The challenge for the Reds is to be braver and quickly adapt to life in the Premier League.
A break for the World Cup is likely to come at a useful time and Forest should get some time to work on things on the training ground.
Juric has dismissed Forest claims
It seems clear that the head coach doesn’t have many sights set on heading to Forest.
He’s been talking to Football Italia regarding the rumours and has cited idle gossip as the order of the day at the moment.
Juric said: “We’re here and working for what is best for Torino. Everything else is just chatter and does not count.”

Replacing Cooper with Juric wouldn’t be ideal.
It would hardly excite the Forest fan base and he’d have a lot of work to do in order to prove himself at the City Ground.
Throughout his managerial career, he has a win ratio of 34% and that’s hardly going to get Forest fans overly excited.
The Reds would be wise to stick with Cooper this season.
If relegation does become reality there is absolutely no better man than the current boss to try and bring them back.
