Ateef Konate could be in line to feature for Nottingham Forest against Tottenham tomorrow night.

The main news when the team sheet came out, however, was the absence of Konate from the squad.
As a result, it seems likely that he will be included in Steve Cooper’s squad for tomorrow night’s Carabao Cup game.
The 21-year-old would richly deserve a shot in the team.
He’s been bang in form for the under-21s during 2022/23, scoring three goals from a number 10 position.
Konate can operate anywhere in the front three and looks set to have a bright future ahead of him.
It does seem to make sense that the former Le Havre player wasn’t included last night as he’s set to feature against Spurs.
Cooper will want to win tomorrow but he knows that Saturday’s game against Crystal Palace is bigger.
With that in mind, some of the team’s main attacking talents may get the chance to rest in the League Cup.
Konate could be in line to play for Forest in Carabao Cup
The Reds must ensure they remain competitive tomorrow night.
As a result, Cooper might choose to utilise Konate from the bench, with the intention of getting him on later in the clash.
The Reds have already lost to Tottenham on home soil this season but it’ll likely be a different Tottenham tomorrow.

He’s quick, tricky and can also weigh in with goals and assists to help the team.
