Nottingham Forest were one of a number of Premier League clubs to watch Ibrahim Sangare on Sunday.
The 24-year-old was in action as PSV defeated Ajax 2-1 and he’s going to be a wanted man in January.
Forest were linked with the Ivorian in the summer and PSV starlet Cody Gakpo was also on the radar.
Both men were in action at the weekend, according to 90Min, with more than half of the Premier League in attendance at the game.

Gakpo is likely to be way out of reach for Forest, with Manchester United monitoring his situation.
One player who could be more obtainable, however, is Sangare, with West Ham and Leicester both thought to be keen.
The combative midfielder has been with PSV since 2020 and has a contract there until 2027.
Sangare is enjoying a decent campaign under Ruud van Nistelrooy and has scored five goals.
Forest were willing to sign him in the summer but he proved unobtainable with other options added instead.
It does seem likely that the Reds will be active in the transfer market once again in January.
No fewer than 22 new players were signed in the summer but Forest have won just twice in the Premier League.
If the chance to sign a midfielder like Sangare arises it looks likely that they will pursue a deal.
He won’t come cheap though. It was claimed by the Daily Mail in the summer that he’s valued at £34 million by PSV.
Forest watch Sangare
It has to be said that given their league position, West Ham and Leicester likely have the edge over Forest.
Still, it would seem as though the Reds are still going to be aggressive in the transfer market in January.

Sangare is a proven performer and a move to a top European league looks likely in the near future.
The midfielder earns £35,000-a-week at PSV and he would likely get a much bigger salary in the Premier League.
Whether Forest can convince the 24-cap star to head to the City Ground remains to be seen.
If they can, however, they will be getting themselves a real coup.
