Gustavo Scarpa has been discussing his decision to sign for Nottingham Forest over Olympiacos during an interview with Band.
The Brazilian had said his goodbyes to Palmeiras and it’s next stop, Nottingham, for the 28-year-old attacker.
Scarpa finished the 2022 campaign as one of the division’s standout players as the club won the league title.

The left-footed player has a wand of a left peg and he could bring some balance to the attacking ranks.
Scarpa scored 13 goals and laid on a further 15 in the way of assists during a memorable campaign in Brazil.
The talented performer will now head to Forest in confident spirits and he will hope to prove a big point.
Scarpa could have been winging his way to Olympiacos, however, but a chat with his manager convinced him otherwise.
He told Band: “I called the manager to talk, at first I was going to Olympiacos and he didn’t like it very much.
“He said that Greece was not the place for me. He said I had a lot of potential and he wasn’t going to help me with Greece, but if this England thing was true, he just wished me luck and thanked me.

The attacker is going to have a big part to prove at the City Ground when he finally checks in.
Scarpa can clearly play and he will arrive at the club in confident spirits on the back of a sound season.
He would have likely taken Olympiacos by storm and he’s right not to fancy an uncompetitive Greek Super League.
Scarpa will join Forest as they bid to try and stay in the Premier League during the current campaign.

The player won’t officially be able to play until January but his arrival looks like an exciting one.
Scarpa will bring some quality to the final third and he will quickly want to win a place in the team.
He’s showing serious ambition by joining Forest and Scarpa will hope the dream doesn’t become a nightmare.
