The youngster arrived at the City Ground on a season-long loan from Rennes and was expected to add some pace.
However, Bade has made just one appearance in the matchday squad and has failed to kick a ball.
The report claims that Forest will look to add another central defender to their ranks during the transfer window.
With Bade likely to head back to Rennes and Giulian Biancone injuring his knee, the Reds are somewhat short.
Moussa Niakhate could return after the World Cup but he will need monitoring closely after a serious hamstring injury.
Scott McKenna, Steve Cook and Joe Worrall are also in the ranks but another option will be sought in January.
For Bade, his time at Forest has been nothing short of a nightmare.
He’s failed to impress Steve Cooper and his inability to speak good English has likely hampered his progress.
The 22-year-old arrived at the club with a decent reputation as a burgeoning talent and at a time when the Reds needed a defender.
Now, the club will start planning for January and Everton star Michael Keane has already been linked.
Forest will terminate Bade loan
This looks like the right decision to make to suit all parties once the January transfer window comes around.
Forest will need another central defender to make sure they’re well-stocked for the second half of the season.
Worrall and Willy Boly played the last game against Crystal Palace and it will be interesting to see if that partnership starts the first game back.
Bade just hasn’t worked out for Forest. Clearly, Cooper doesn’t feel that he’s ready for Premier League action at this stage.
The youngster has experience of playing senior football in France and naturally he will be a good fit for someone.
Forest have to move on though and this looks like the best move for everyone concerned.
