Now, he’s producing the goods on the grandest stage of them all. His performances at the tournament have been very good so far and Switzerland could pull off another scalp against Portugal.

Forest paid just £7.5 million for Freuler. He joined the Reds from Atalanta where he’d played over 200 times and captained the team in the Champions League against Manchester United last season.

Freuler is now highlighting his quality in the Premier League. He’s become a regular in Steve Cooper’s team, striking up a rapport with both Cheikhou Kouyate and Ryan Yates in the middle of the park.
