Nottingham Forest are keen to sign Union Berlin winger Sheraldo Becker, according to Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg. The speed demon has a contract until 2024 and the Bundesliga side could be forced to sell.
Becker is a fantastic player. He can play on either flank or as a striker and is rapid! Once upon a time, he was linked with Leeds United but now the Reds are leading the chase to sign the Union Berlin player.
The Bundesliga outfit are enjoying a brilliant season this time around. They’re currently fifth in the table and have high hopes of securing a place in the Champions League for the 2023/24 campaign.

Becker is enjoying a good season too. He’s found the net eight times and registered six assists during the current campaign, making him one of the top players in the Bundesliga at this moment in time.
Forest will go in search of some more attacking players in January. The Reds currently sit 18th in the Premier League and are facing a desperate fight to avoid relegation from the division this season.
Becker could provide an injection of quality in the final third. He’s quick, very direct and capable of grabbing games by the scruff of the neck.
Forest keen to sign Becker
This would be an intriguing signing. Becker is a former teammate of Taiwo Awoniyi and perhaps he’d be the player that can help get the best out of the Nigerian.
Becker is 27-years-old and would likely arrive at Forest in his prime. As a result, this is a signing that would make a lot of sense.

He’s registered 14 goal contributions during the current campaign. He is capable of scoring and assisting goals and that could help the Reds.
Becker is a top player. With that in mind, Forest would be wise to make sure they do all they can to sign him during the January transfer window.
