Sevilla are keen for Rennes to cut short the loan of Loic Bade at Nottingham Forest. The La Liga outfit are very eager to sign the centre-back and think they will be well-placed to land him, according to El Chiringuito.
Bade has been a truly bizarre signing by Forest. He checked in on a season-long loan during the transfer deadline day in August, but he’s failed to make a single competitive appearance.

The 22-year-old came to Forest with the intention of playing. He was signed at a time when it looked as though the Reds needed an injection of pace into their rearguard with Bade the man to provide it.
It’s not transpired though and Bade has found himself down the pecking order. He’s made the bench once under Steve Cooper; away at Wolves back in October when the Reds were beaten 1-0.
On that occasion, he didn’t get on the pitch. He also travelled with the squad to Brighton but that time he didn’t make the 20-man matchday squad to take part in the game.
It’s been something of a strange situation. There is definitely something amiss and for whatever reason, the Forest head coach just hasn’t fancied Bade at all.
As a result, keeping him at the City Ground makes zero sense at all. If another club wants to take him, then Forest have to let him go and make room for a replacement to be signed in January.

This will go down as a really strange signing. Some felt that Forest were merely stockpiling players in the summer and this addition will do nothing to ease those concerns among supporters.
The Reds added 22 new players during a frantic summer transfer window. It’s fair to say that some signings have worked but ultimately Forest have been bitten with some of their deals.

Bade goes down as one of those. It always looked a little bit risky given that he’d now made many appearances in men’s football.
Perhaps looking back some Premier League experience would have been a better idea and his replacement might be someone who fits that criteria in January.
