Nottingham Forest have made a huge announcement this morning, with the club now set to wear a shirt sponsor on their jerseys for the rest of the 2022/23 campaign.
The Reds had been criticised for being unable to strike a deal with anyone ahead of their first season back in the Premier League for 23 years.
BOXT sponsored the shirt last season. They were keen to do business for another campaign but not at the price that Forest wanted to recoup.

Local energy company Ideagen were also thought to be in the mix but they continue to sponsor the club’s academy now.
Instead, Forest chose to go it alone for the first half of the campaign. But now, the Reds will wear a shirt sponsor for the remainder of the campaign and it’s for a good cause!
Evangelos Marinakis has announced that the Reds have struck a partnership with the UK for UNHRC Refugee Agency, to support relief efforts for people fleeing conflict and persecution worldwide.
The company’s logo will be worn on Forest shirts from 2023. Furthermore, the club has also made a financial donation to support international relief efforts and continue to raise awareness for the charity.
Forest have made a huge announcement and Marinakis is delighted
This is huge news for the Reds. Some had heavily criticised them for not having a shirt sponsor this season but now it’s been nipped in the bud.
Marinakis is massively happy too and told the club’s official website: “We are delighted that for the remainder of the season we will use the front of our famous shirt to tell an important story. It will be an hour to display their name on our shirt in support of this important cause.”

Forest will wear the sponsor for the first time when Chelsea arrive at the City Ground on New Year’s Day.
All three of the men’s kits will showcase support for the charity, with the club’s Women also donning the logo on their strips.
Forest join Barcelona in becoming a supporter of refugees through UNHCR’s relief efforts. The La Liga giants have been in partnership with then since March; funding relief for countries like Uganda and Colombia.
