Nottingham Forest have progressed to the quarter-final and now many supporters are wondering, when is the Carabao Cup draw?
Not since 1994 have the Reds reached the last eight of the League Cup. On that occasion, the Reds lost to Tranmere Rovers after a replay at Prenton Park.
It’s been a barren run in the competition since then. The Reds did reach the last 16 under Aitor Karanka but lost to League One outfit Burton Albion after playing a weakened team.
Now, Steve Cooper will be targeting glory and we take a look at when the next round of the Carabao Cup draw will take place…
When is the draw for the Carabao Cup?
The draw for the Carabao Cup quarter-final will take place tonight. It will be shown live on Sky Sports shortly after Liverpool have played Manchester City in the final last-16 clash.
Mark Chapman will be hosting tonight. He’s joined by Shay Given and former Nottingham Forest Women goalkeeper Mary Earps.

The Reds will be hoping that the Lioness can pull Forest a decent draw – preferably at home – when she pulls the balls out of the hat tonight.
If the game finishes after 90 minutes, the draw should take place at around 10pm.
Should penalties be required, the draw will take place slightly later but will still be shown live on Sky Sports.
When will the quarter-final take place?
Forest will resume their League Cup campaign on the week commencing 9th January.
Two games will be selected for Sky Sports coverage and will be announced in due course.
Who could Forest draw in the Carabao Cup?
Interestingly, the bottom three in the Premier League have all reached the last eight. Forest, Wolves and Southampton will all be in the hat.
Leicester are also through having defeated MK Dons, whilst Manchester United beat Burnley to progress.

Elsewhere, there will be a League One club eagerly awaiting the draw. Charlton progressed after beating Brighton on penalties last night.
Newcastle will be the other team looking to win silverware and will be joined by either Liverpool or Manchester City in tonight’s draw.
