Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has sent an emotional message to Nottingham Forest forward Jesse Lingard on Instagram.
The 30-year-old Forest man returned to Old Trafford for the first time since his departure in the summer last night.
He spent several years at United and came through the academy with the club, making over 200 appearances.
Lingard is slowly but surely settling in at Forest and he will be a big player in the second half of the campaign.

He’s clearly still held in high regard at United. Rashford and Lingard played many times together and are big friends.
Rashford continued his fine form for United last night. He opened the scoring, lashing home after a cute corner from Luke Shaw.
Lingard didn’t enjoy a happy return to his old club and hobbled off with an injury in the second half.
He was seen with heavy strapping on his hamstring and left the Old Trafford turf with ice on his injury.
Forest will hope that Lingard can recover quickly and be in contention to face Chelsea on New Year’s Day.
Rashford will hope to propel United into the top four this season and his form has been ridiculously good.

It was good to see that Lingard received a warm welcome from the United faithful at Old Trafford.
He was a decent player in the United ranks and left in search of regular action in the summer.

After the game, the two players swapped their shirts. It was a nice moment and Rashford took to Twitter afterwards.
He wrote to Lingard: “More than just a friend, good to see you, bro.”
Forest have to bounce back quickly with the 3-0 defeat last night very detrimental.
The Reds need to do whatever it takes to get themselves clear of relegation and that has to start on Sunday.
