Fabrizio Romano has delivered an exciting update on Nottingham Forest and their pursuit of Palmeiras midfielder Danilo. The transfer guru is rarely wrong and it would appear that Forest supporters are set for some good news.
The Reds are trying to add some steel to their midfield this month. Cheikhou Kouyate was injured at the World Cup and he won’t return from his hamstring problem until March.
Forest have therefore targeted Danilo. He was part of the Palmeiras team last season that claimed the title and he played an instrumental part alongside new Forest signing Gustavo Scarpa.

Now, it seems as though a deal is getting close. Romano believes that the Brazilian central midfielder is due to land in England tonight and will sign for the Reds in the very near future.
The talented player has been highly sought after by Premier League clubs. Arsenal were tempted to bid for him in the summer; with Newcastle and Leeds keen to sign him this month.
Forest have won the race for his signature though. The Reds have landed the midfield warrior for a fee of around £16 million, although there will be a few add-ons included.
Romano delivered exciting Forest update
The slogan has been said. Here we go! Romano is rarely wrong and given that his three-word motto has been used, it would suggest that a deal is now imminent for the Reds.
Danilo will be a wonderful signing. He’s got bags of potential and he looks like a player who will be capable of having a long and fruitful career at the City Ground in a Forest shirt.

For a young player, the youngster has bags of experience. He’s played well over 100 times for Palmeiras and as a result, it will be very interesting to see how he does in the Premier League.
Danilo is expected to complete his signing very soon. Now, the talk will start over when he will be ready to make his debut and it’s extremely signing to see what sort of player Forest have signed.
