Forest have quickly moved to sign someone for their engine room. Cheikhou Kouyate has been ruled out until March after picking up an injury at the World Cup.

Danilo is the man chosen to replace the Senegalese international. He will check in at the City Ground very shortly and was thought to have arrived in England late last night.

The 21-year-old has played over 100 times for Palmeiras. As a youngster that suggests that he’s got something about him and he looks like an exciting addition for the Reds.

Now, Nicola has shared what sort of contract he will be on at the City Ground. After signing 23 new players during the summer transfer window, it’s clear that Forest will have to cut their cloth.

It would seem as though they’ve done that with this deal. It’s been claimed by the reputable journalist that he will earn £30,000-a-week and put pen to paper on a long-term deal at the City Ground.

This looks like an amazing deal for the Reds. As recently as the summer, Arsenal wanted to sign the youngster, whilst Newcastle and Leeds have both been considering a move this month.

Given that he’s only cost the Reds around £16 million, this all seems very reasonable. The salary and the transfer fee will hardly break the bank for a Premier League club and that bodes well.

Forest have more business that needs to be done this month. The injury list is growing by the week and it seems certain that the Reds would love to sign a central defender and a striker.

Forest couldn’t have timed their return to form any better. Potential new recruits will now be looking at the club as an attractive proposition once again and things look to be on the up.
