Arnaut Danjuma has jetted back into London amid claims that Nottingham Forest and Everton want him. The Express has claimed that the winger and his agent will continue talks with several Premier League clubs this week.
It’s been claimed today that Forest are actually leading the race for the Villarreal star. Football Insider made the claim that Steve Cooper is set to win the race to sign the 25-year-old this month.
With lots of rumours floating around, however, it’s hard to know what to believe. Still, there isn’t usually any smoke without fire and Forest might be holding an advantage.

Danjuma will be allowed to leave the Yellow Submarine this month. He’s fallen down the pecking order at the La Liga outfit and is now eyeing a return to the Premier League.
Former club Bournemouth had been keen to sign Danjuma too. With Everton and Forest now in the mix though, it looks highly unlikely that the forward will make the switch to the Cherries.
Danjuma was part of the Villarreal squad that reached the semi-final of the Champions League last season. He scored 16 goals and claimed four assists in Unai Emery’s team that defied the odds.
Pierre van Hooijdonk is a huge fan of Danjuma. He called him ‘spectacular’ after he played for Holland during a 6-0 win over Gibraltar. Former boss Jonathan Woodgate labelled him as ‘exceptional’ during his time as the Bournemouth manager.
Danjuma has jetted back to England and he’d be class Forest signing
This one would be the type of signing that could excite supporters. Danjuma is only 25 and less than a year ago, he was helping an unfancied side reach the last four of the Champions League.

Forest definitely need some options in their attack. Jesse Lingard and Taiwo Awoniyi are currently injured and the Reds won’t want their good form to end any time soon.
Danjuma can operate wide on the left or right and has so often been deployed as a striker by Villarreal. That versatility is what Cooper loves and as a result, he could prove ideal.
