Nottingham Forest are in advanced talks with PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas, according to Le10 Sport. Jorge Mendes is the player’s agent and it’s claimed that he is trying to smooth through the deal.
Forest aren’t the only club though to be interested in the world-class custodian. Leicester have entered the race, whilst Bournemouth are also thought to be interested in the player.
Navas can leave PSG on the cheap this month, it’s been claimed. It could take around £3.5 million to prise him away from the French champions and Forest look to be in pole position.

The 36-year-old goalkeeper has enjoyed a remarkable career. He’s won the Champions League three times and has also won league titles in France and Spain during his playing days.
Navas has also been a star for the Costa Rica national team. He’s claimed 110 caps and played at the World Cup in Qatar which took place at the back end of last year.
Navas isn’t a regular for his club, however. Gianluigi Donnarumma is ahead of him and at this stage of career, he will be itching to play regular first-team football as he sees out his career.
He should get the chance to do that with Forest. Dean Henderson has picked up an injury and will be out of action for a minimum of four weeks, with Wayne Hennessey playing at Bournemouth yesterday.
Forest in advanced talks with Navas
This would be a remarkable signing. A deal will need to be struck though, with Navas collecting around £200,000-a-week at PSG. He is out of contract in the summer, however, and will perhaps want to get fixed up now.
The Costa Rican star has enjoyed a stunning career. As a result, it would be a ridiculous signing for Forest and one that could enhance their chances of avoiding relegation this season.

Navas will need some convincing, however. Naturally, he will take a wage drop to join the Forest squad and it will be interesting to see just how desperate he is to play regular football.
Mendes is a superagent and he’s helped Forest complete several deals in the past. They’ve not always been successful though and Navas will likely be the best of the lot.
