Keylor Navas is ready to swap PSG for Nottingham Forest and a report has explained exactly how much he will cost the Reds. The Costa Rica international has agreed to join the Reds on loan until the end of the season.

This will naturally be infuriating some of the media experts and pundits. Forest were expected to come up and roll over this season but Evangelos Marinakis doesn’t have that in his makeup.

Now, Navas looks set to sign for the Reds to bolster their goalkeeping department. Dean Henderson is out injured for a month and Wayne Hennessey is viewed very much as a backup option.

Forest face Manchester United on Wednesday before playing Leeds in the Premier League on Sunday next week. Clearly, Steve Cooper would like to have a new goalkeeper in his ranks before those games.

Navas will arrive at the City Ground with an unbelievable CV. He’s played for PSG and Real Madrid, winning three Champions League titles at the Bernabeu and several league titles throughout his career.

The 36-year-old is keen to stay in Europe. He’s already turned down a move to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and that would have seen him reunite with ex-Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.

Report has explained how much Forest will pay Keylor Navas

The Reds will have to pay a decent whack to land Navas on loan. The Reds will apparently pay around half of the player’s £200,000-a-week wages and that represents a huge sum.

Nicolo Schira is a man with his finger on the pulse of transfers across Europe. He’s claimed that the Reds will fork out around half of that particular salary but Forest are still getting a coup.

Marinakis is leaving no stone unturned in his quest to oversee a survival bid by Forest. Navas should be capable of making an immediate impact and his experience should prove absolutely vital.
