With Dean Henderson injured, Forest made the decision to look for another goalkeeper. Early interest in Navas was met with intrigue, although plenty felt he wasn’t realistic.

The experienced player was intrigued though. Ultimately, it was the goalkeeper who pushed for the deal to be completed. At the eleventh hour, the deal went through.

If Navas continues his fine form, he might make the FIFA Team of the Week a bit more often.
