Steve Cooper has told Nottinghamshire Live that he believes three Nottingham Forest players are getting used to performing on the biggest stage. The Reds are now 13th in the Premier League after a somewhat difficult start to the 2022/23 campaign.
Forest have secured more points than any team in the division in 2023. Their tally was taken to 11 for the calendar year after they defeated Leeds United 1-0 on Sunday. After that game, Leeds boss Jesse Marsch was sacked by the Whites.

The Reds now have their Premier League status in their own hands. They need to do some more work to ensure they don’t become embroiled in a relegation scrap still but the signs are looking quite positive at the moment.
Forest can only get their own house in order and right now, Cooper has done that. In a recent interview, he namechecked three players who he feels are stepping up right now.
He told Nottinghamshire Live: “At the moment, I’m really enjoying seeing Brennan, and the like of Morgan (Gibbs-White and Neco (Williams), starting to thrive and get used to this big stage.”

Forest have a squad that is now brimming with talent. They must keep going until survival is mathematically secured but right now, things are certainly looking far more positive.
Cooper believes three Forest players are getting used to the Premier League
It was always going to take some time but slowly and surely Forest are getting it right. The decision to stick with Steve Cooper looks inspired and the Reds are now reaping the rewards.
Since the World Cup, Forest have lost just once in the Premier League. That sort of form will take them far this season and staying in the Premier League is a must.

Cooper’s comments will perhaps come as a surprise about Williams though. He’s been out of the team just lately and has been prone to the odd error this season.
Clearly, however, Cooper sees him as a young player with bags of talent. At 21-years-old, he will come good at some point and he will hope to keep his place against Fulham this weekend.
