Nottingham Forest face Manchester City this weekend and it’s fair to say that Phil Foden won’t fancy coming up against Felipe again.
Last season, Felipe came up against Foden in the quarter-final of the Champions League and he endured a rough night.
First, the City player cut his head following a robust challenge with Felipe and later on the defender was sent off after roughing up Foden again.

The City man did have the last laugh. The 0-0 draw at Wanda Metropolitano meant that it was Pep Guardiola’s side that went through 1-0 on aggregate.
Now, Felipe is set to face Foden again. He will be thrown into the team for his first Forest star against City this weekend.
It’s a case of needs must for Forest. The 33-year-old came on against Fulham at the weekend; with Willy Boly and Scott McKenna both heading off injured after six minutes.
Felipe signed for Forest on transfer deadline day for a fee of £2 million. He penned an 18-month contract with the club and he could prove a big player.
His debut for the Reds proved a promising one. He used the ball well and his defending was also impeccable throughout.
Now, an even bigger test lies in store for the Brazilian.
Felipe and Foden set for reunion this weekend
Atletico boss Diego Simeone is renowned for being a master of the dark arts with his style of play.
Trailing one-nil from the first leg in last year’s semi-final, it’s clear that the Argentine asked his players to rough City up.
Felipe took the instruction in the literal sense. He was an absolute brute to Foden and his challenge that got him sent off would have likely seen him disqualified from a UFC bout!

Foden won’t relish coming up against Felipe again. It’s likely that he will be doing his utmost to steer well clear of the Forest man on Saturday.
Forest will still have it all to do at the weekend but another tussle between Felipe and Foden looks like a fascinating one.
