Nottingham Forest face Manchester City this afternoon looking to send shockwaves through the Premier League.

The Reds were beaten 2-0 by Fulham last weekend but are unbeaten at the City Ground in the league since September.

When Forest visited City in August they were thrashed 6-0 and the Reds will hope to avoid a repeat today.

Ahead of the contest, we looked at how Steve Cooper could line his team up at the City Ground.

At the back, there will be two changes, with Willy Boly and Scott McKenna both picking up season-threatening injuries last week.

As a result, Felipe will be handed his home debut and Joe Worrall will be back in the team as the captain.

The full-backs will remain unchanged with Serge Aurier and Renan Lodi both likely to start.

The Forest engine room

This could be the game for Cooper to try a new trio of players in the middle of the park.

Jonjo Shelvey produced an excellent cameo last week and he looks certain to start should he be fit enough.

He’s been called outstanding previously by Steve Bruce and he could bring a lot to this Forest team.

Remo Freuler has been a consistent inclusion in the team and he should also keep his place in the middle of the park.

Alongside those two, Cooper could pick Danilo to add a bit more steel to the engine room, with Orel Mangala on the bench.

Leading the Forest line

Chris Wood has endured a pretty ordinary three games at Forest and Cooper must decide whether to stick or twist.

Today, it could be the game for the energy of Sam Surridge to enter the fray and he might occupy the left-hand side.

Morgan Gibbs-White will play through the middle, whilst Brennan Johnson should try and torment City from his usual position on the right.
