Clinton Morrison has delivered his verdict on whether Nottingham Forest or Everton will have found yesterday’s draw more useful. The pundit was covering the game for BBC Radio 5 Live at the City Ground yesterday.
Brennan Johnson was the saviour for the Reds on Trentside. He equalised for the Reds twice after Demarai Gray and Abdoulaye Doucoure had found the net for the Toffees.
Sean Dyche has got his team playing an interesting brand of football. They kicked Forest into oblivion for 90 minutes and he’s clearly trying to make his Everton team more of a tougher nut to crack.

The Reds deserved their point. However, they will hope that they don’t have too many more performances of this nature on home soil as they struggled to get any real rhythm going.
With both of yesterday’s teams still embroiled in a relegation battle, Morrison discussed who he thought would benefit more from a share of the spoils.
He told BBC 5 Live: “That was a brilliant game that’s what you want when you are fighting relegation. People were throwing themselves around and putting their bodies on the line.
“If a point is good for any team then I would probably say it’s more useful to Forest than Everton.
“If both of these teams play like this until the end of the season then they’ll be safe, or at least have a very good chance.”
Morrison has delivered interesting verdict on Forest v Everton
It’s fair for the Sky Sports and BBC pundit to suggest that Forest are happier with a point. They retain a four-point advantage over Everton and that certainly bodes well.
To say that both teams could stay up, however, looks like it could be a long shot. Forest, Leeds and Everton look like the three teams most likely to fight for the last place, with Southampton and Bournemouth looking more perilous.

It certainly promises to be an intriguing run-in. Forest are so near yet so far away from really climbing the Premier League but they have to play a bit better than they did yesterday.
The away from is deeply concerning for the Reds. They go to Tottenham next Saturday and ultimately, they’re desperate for a performance on their travels to ease the pressure on the home games.
