Nottingham Forest face Newcastle United in the Premier League tonight with both teams needing wins for different reasons.

The Reds haven’t won for five matches and are sliding ever closer to the bottom three once again.

Newcastle are wanting wins to keep hot on the tails of the top four and they will see tonight as a huge opportunity.

Ahead of tonight’s game, we looked at a predicted team that Steve Cooper could utilise.

Predicted Nottingham Forest team

The Forest rearguard

Keylor Navas will once again start the game between the posts.

The Costa Rican has been in fine form since arriving and he will hope that he receives better protection this evening.

At the back, there could be one change from the 3-1 defeat at Tottenham.

Joe Worrall had a bit of a tough afternoon in North London and perhaps Moussa Niakhate will start the game.

He could partner Felipe at the heart of a back four, with Serge Aurier and Renan Lodi playing at full-back.

There could be another change in the middle of the park too as Cooper shuffles his pack.

Ryan Yates has been impressive from the bench against Everton and Tottenham, with a start in the offing.

Jonjo Shelvey looks likely to start against his former club, whilst Remo Freuler could make the three up this evening.

Danilo and Orel Mangala will provide options from the bench.

Leading the Forest line

Jesse Lingard looks set to drop out after a quiet showing against Tottenham.

Morgan Gibbs-White could start from the left-hand side, with Emmanuel Dennis playing from the right.
