A report has claimed that two unnamed Premier League clubs want to sign Nottingham Forest loanee Dean Henderson. The Reds have been linked with the 26-year-old along with Tottenham and Chelsea.
The Athletic claims that two clubs have already contacted the Red Devils ahead of the summer transfer window. It’s apparent also that United are willing to cash in on their player during the summer.

The man starring at Forest is currently injured, with a thigh problem. He will have been gutted to pick up such an injury at a crucial stage of the campaign and at a time when he was playing really well.
Keylor Navas has played well since he arrived at Forest. Thankfully, the Reds were able to get that deal sorted. Still, it’s likely that Henderson will be viewed as the club’s number-one option going forwards and he should get game time before the end of the season.
Forest hope to sign Henderson permanently if they can retain their Premier League status this season. They certainly won’t have a chance to do that if the player has a sniff that he’s not considered the number one at the City Ground.
Now, the report from The Athletic has given an update on Henderson. They believe that clubs are already preparing their shortlists ahead of the summer and that two clubs have already declared an interest in the one-time England international.
Two clubs make first contact over Henderson
Henderson’s situation could be a whole lot different. Various reports have claimed that he might walk away from Old Trafford and Forest desperately want to sign him if they remain in the Premier League.

Sander Berge called Henderson ‘exceptional’ and ‘insane’ when the pair were at Sheffield United together. He has enjoyed some big moments for Forest this season and hopefully, he can get back in the side and enjoy a few more when he’s first and ready.
Henderson is a brilliant goalkeeper and he’s still relatively young in terms of a goalkeeper. Hopefully, Forest are one of the clubs that are interested and if they haven’t already, it’d be wise to let United know of their intentions.
