Steve Cooper has claimed that three Nottingham Forest players could miss this weekend’s huge Premier League game against Wolves.
The Reds have a huge City Ground clash in store and sadly the injury list is showing no signs of getting shorter.
Chris Wood has been ruled out of the rest of the season and now Cooper has issued another update to the club’s official website.

Worryingly, three more players are doubtful for Saturday, with Serge Aurier, Gustavo Scarpa and Andre Ayew nursing problems.
Cooper told the official website: “Serge Aurier, Andre Ayew and Gustavo Scarpa have picked up some injuries over the break.
“We’re not sure how long they will be out for or what their availability will be for the next few games.”
Aurier picked up his injury during the international break. He was substituted as the Ivory Coast defeated Comoros and didn’t play in the second game.
Ghanaian forward Ayew was also injured during the international break. He hurt his knee during a training ground incident; although pundit Charles Taylor suggested he might be faking it.
It’s not clear how Scarpa has become injured. He only played for a couple of minutes against Newcastle and he will be craving a start.

Admittedly, this could be a lot worse. Ayew and Scarpa would have likely been on the bench anyway but Aurier is a huge loss.
If he doesn’t play on Saturday, Forest’s challenge of beating Wolves becomes far more difficult.
Nothing against Neco Williams but he just doesn’t have the same quality defensively as the Ivorian international.

Scarpa is another player who Forest could really do with at the moment. He shows glimpses of quality and isn’t afraid to have a go from range.
Ayew is another option from the bench but he’s not really got going yet at the City Ground.
With him being absent this weekend, that could allow Cooper to give Sam Surridge a proper go who has been waiting in the wings.
