Nottingham Forest drew with Wolves at the weekend and Morgan Gibbs-White showed the club where he used to star exactly what they’re missing out on.
When the Forest star left Molineux in the summer it proved largely unpopular. The Reds forked out a club-record transfer fee which could rise to £40 million.
Gibbs-White has been a standout player for the Reds this season. He does only have two goals to his name but he’s claimed five assists and probably should have more.

On Saturday, the 23-year-old was bang up for Wolves. From the get-go he was lively; buzzing around the City Ground pitch and demanding the ball from his teammates constantly.
Gibbs-White is going to be absolutely vital if Forest stand any chance of survival this season. He’s constantly probing and will always look to make things happen.
On Saturday, he was at his creative best. In fact, the six big chances that he created couldn’t be matched by any player across the Premier League all weekend.
Gibbs-White created six big chances for his teammates during the clash. He was also given the Man of the Match accolade inside the stadium.

The youngster was a fantastic signing during the summer. He was Steve Cooper’s first-choice signing and Evangelos Marinakis made sure the Forest head coach got his man.
Gibbs-White has been a cracking addition to the squad. The things he tries don’t always come to fruition but he’s always up every single game.

In fairness, he should have more assists to his name. Some wayward finishing across the campaign has robbed him of having a few more under his belt this season.
Gibbs-White is going to be hugely important between now and the end of May. If he can continue firing, Forest might just have a chance of survival.
