Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson is officially the fastest player in the Premier League during 2022/23, according to some statistics that have emerged.
The Reds forward has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season. He’s currently the top goalscorer for Forest and Squawka have confirmed him as the quickest.
Johnson’s speed has always been his main attribute. Over the last two seasons, however, his finishing has also become pretty stunning too.

All in all, the Reds have a seriously talented player on their hands. As a result of his statistics this season, it’s no surprise that he’s being linked with other clubs.
Last season, the 21-year-old scored 19 times and claimed 10 assists. This season has been more of a slow burner but since the World Cup, he’s been truly outstanding.

With his stock currently sky-high, another remarkable statistic has emerged regarding Johnson.
Squawka claims that no player in the Premier League has clocked a top speed higher than Johnson this season, with the Forest man the quickest player in the league.
He has clocked a speed of 36.7 KM/H this season, with Anthony Gordon, Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland all hot on the heels of Johnson.
Forest star Brennan Johnson is the fastest in the Premier League
This is certainly an interesting statistic and it’s fair to say that Johnson is an absolute nightmare for defenders, even in the Premier League.
Forest are being kept afloat by Johnson’s goals at the moment. Were it not for him firing since the World Cup, the Reds would be in serious trouble.

Johnson has the world at his feet. He will undoubtedly go on to play Premier League football with or without Forest for many years.
His form at the moment isn’t doing the Reds too many favours in terms of interest elsewhere, with Tottenham reportedly scouting him at the weekend.
If Johnson can fire Forest to safety, however, the Reds will be in a commanding position when it comes to his transfer valuation in the summer.
