Nottingham Forest were left stunned when they returned to the dressing room after Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Wolves at the City Ground.

Brennan Johnson scored for the Reds but Daniel Podence’s goal with eight minutes remaining meant a share of the spoils.

Now, the Daily Mail claims that all was not rosy when the players returned to the dressing room, with a leak dousing the dressing room in water.

A pipe had apparently burst in the ceiling causing the dressing room to start flooding with a bucket and a towel in place to catch the excess.

On the field, it was a frustrating afternoon for the Reds. Forest probably had enough chances to win the game and this was a real missed opportunity.

Forest are still above the relegation zone but their gap to the bottom three is now down to a single point.

The Reds face Leeds United tomorrow night in a massive game towards the bottom of the Premier League and they desperately need a win.

Forest haven’t claimed all three points since they defeated the Whites at the City Ground seven games ago.

The Reds are a Premier League club now and it’s about time they improved the infrastructure accordingly.

The Peter Taylor Stand is extremely old now and it desperately needs modernising in the coming years.

It remains to be seen whether the events of Saturday will ramp up the club’s desire to commence work quicker than expected.
