Brian Laws wasn’t impressed with Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo as the Reds lost 2-1 to Leeds United last night.
It’s now eight without a win for the under-fire Steve Cooper and Laws was discussing the performance on BBC Radio Nottingham.
It never rains it pours at the City Ground. When it comes to Forest playing away, it’s monsoon-type weather and the rain is torrential.

Last night, things looked to be different. Orel Mangala opened the scoring after just 12 minutes and the Elland Road crowd began to turn.
But, Forest did what Forest do on the road and completely capitulated. Within eight minutes Leeds were level through Jack Harrison and on the stroke of half-time, Luis Sinisterra fired them ahead.

Laws was summarising the game for BBC Radio Nottingham and he wasn’t happy with Toffolo in the build-up to the first goal.
He said: “Toffolo has got to stay with his man all the way. It’s far too easy and that’s so disappointing.”
The 27-year-old defender was in the team for the second game running with Renan Lodi sitting on the bench once again.
Toffolo deputised on Saturday against Wolves and did well, with Lodi only returning from the birth of his child early on Friday morning.
Laws not impressed with Toffolo
Another defeat for Forest on the road and another uneasy day for Cooper who must wonder how much time he has left.
Speculation is currently rife regarding his future and Evangelos Marinakis won’t be happy with the current performance levels.
The Reds go to Aston Villa on Saturday before facing Manchester United, Liverpool and Brighton in the space of 10 days.

Toffolo did okay again last night but at this level mistakes typically cost you goals.
He wasn’t the only one guilty for the first goal. Some poor goalkeeping from Keylor Navas allowed Harrison to squirm the ball home at the second attempt.
Right now things look really bleak and it’s hard to see where Forest next pick up a point.
