Nottingham Forest duo Harry Toffolo and Felipe have issued a rallying cry to the club’s supporters following another defeat.
The Reds were beaten 2-1 by Leeds United at Elland Road and they will drop into the bottom three if they lose to Aston Villa on Saturday.
Steve Cooper’s position had come under threat leading up to the Leeds game. Now, Evangelos Marinakis has released a statement saying he will retain his backing for now.

Forest did everything right for 20 minutes at Elland Road. They took the lead through Orel Mangala but then stopped playing and actually trailed at the break.
The second half was abject. It wasn’t clear what the strategy was and Forest failed to have a shot on target despite trying to get back into the game.
MORE FOREST STORIES
Forest desperately need a result from somewhere. They have an almighty run of fixtures coming up now and can ill afford any more slip-ups.
After the game, Toffolo and Felipe issued a passionate plea to the supporters, urging them to stick with the team at this tough time.
Toffolo told the official website: “It’s about remaining positive, there are nine games to go and this is far from done.”
The Brazilian defender was equally defiant, saying on Instagram: “We know the situation experienced and we are working to reverse this phase. There is no more room for error. Thank you for your support. Count me in, Reds.”
Toffolo and Felipe have issued a rallying cry to supporters
Talk might sound a bit cheap at this stage of the campaign but ultimately, the players are saying the right things.
Forest need actions to speak louder than words now though. The Reds have some really tough games and they can’t afford to feel sorry for themselves.

Toffolo was probably at fault for Leeds’ first goal which was scored by Jack Harrison. However, his performance on the whole was pretty decent.
Felipe was simply colossal defensively and he looks like a very shrewd signing indeed.
Forest need all of their players to roll up their sleeves now and by hook or by crook start picking up a few more points.
