Nottingham Forest-owned goalkeeper Ethan Horvath made it 18 clean sheets for the season with another shutout for Luton against Millwall. The 27-year-old was in fine form as the Hatters move up to third in the Championship.
Horvath was allowed to join Luton during the summer after Forest had won promotion. The American made 11 appearances for the Reds last season, with his last coming as a late substitute in the Play-Off Final at Wembley.

Forest made it clear that Horvath would be allowed to go and play football. He was keen to stay fit and active, with the World Cup in Qatar looming at the halfway point of the 2022/23 campaign.
Horvath was signed by former Forest CEO Dane Murphy. He was the first signing ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, checking in from Club Brugge on a free transfer.
It proved a tricky maiden campaign for Horvath at the City Ground. He was called upon when Brice Samba was suspended but ultimately, he couldn’t make the position his own.
Horvath achieved promotion with the Reds, however, and nobody can take that away from him. He is now targeting a second successive promotion, this time with Luton.
Horvath keeps another shutout for Luton
The Luton loanee is busy giving Forest some serious food for thought. Both of their goalkeepers this season are on loan, with Dean Henderson and Keylor Navas having no chance of signing permanently if the Reds are relegated.
Horvath will want a crack at the Premier League but the goalkeeper will still be under contract at Forest. With that in mind, the club may look to keep hold of him for the 2023/24 campaign.

Against Millwall, Horvath was outstanding. He made four saves and came for two crosses, with Who Scored scoring him a 7.4 rating for his performance during the 90 minutes.
Luton now have an eight-point gap to seventh place in the Championship. They’re probably not going to catch Sheffield United in second but they should be a good bet for another play-off campaign.
